Our aim is to make this film without the involvement of big money institutions.  History has shown that large private and public investors have their own agendas and will often try to influence and interfere with the focus of the film—which in this case, is to observe the women’s movement from the point of view of the activists who have been involved in supporting it.  Since history has also shown that activism and big corporate agendas can be mutually exclusive, the modest budget for completion of Women on the Front Line is being raised entirely from grass-roots investors, scholarly foundations, and independent agencies. Hossein Fazeli and the producer, Reelcontent Productions, welcome the support of anyone who wishes to participate in history in the making.
